OSCAR winning actor Hilary Swank has teased her online followers with a series of cryptic tweets indicating she’s in Australia.
The 41-year-old has been on the international promotional trail for her film, You’re Not You, and was last photographed in public at the Tokyo Film Festival screening of the movie last Friday.
“A bird? A shark? No, a plane! Off to the next adventure,” Swank wrote on Instagram, posting an image of an aeroplane’s shadow over water.
She followed with a number of other images encouraging her followers to guess where she is before posting a Sydney city shot.
“Yes, Sydney! I was so impressed by those who guessed from that first pic of just the small islands!!” she wrote. “Good on ya as they say down here. This is a beautiful city! I’m in love! First time here, just blown away. #Sydney.”
Confidential has heard whispers Swank is in town making a movie although her IMDB profile doesn’t list any current projects other than animated feature, Spark.
There’s also some suggestion the respected actor will be the big name guest of honour at Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival Derby Day this weekend, most likely for wellness brand Swisse.
Swank has two Academy Awards to her name for Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby.
Her other film credits include The Gift, Amelia, The Reaping and Insomnia.
