The Actors Fund’s Looking Ahead program, which helps professional young performers and their families address the unique challenges of working in the entertainment industry, will present the Looking Ahead Awards on Dec. 4 at the Taglyan Cultural Complex in Los Angeles.
Looking Ahead will bestow five awards, each reflecting a core value of the program:

o The Judy and Hilary Swank Award, honoring a parent who exemplifies the central importance of healthy parenting to the well-being and development of young performers.

The Looking Ahead Awards honors leaders in the former young performer community who continue to inspire the world by living the program’s core values of growth, leadership and community service. Two-time Academy Award® winner Hilary Swank will present her mother, Judy Swank, with the Looking Ahead Parenting Award.

The Actors Fund’s Looking Ahead program was established in 2003 in partnership with SAG-AFTRA to work with youth between the ages of nine and 18. The focus is to help themg them develop values, skills and confidence they need to make successful transitions to fulfilling adult lives.
