An open casting call has just been posted for extras for the Hilary Swank feature film “Betty Anne Waters,” which is slated to start filming in Ann Arbor in mid-February.
Interested applicants should go to the Comfort Inn Conference Center at 1645 Commerce Park Dr. in Chelsea on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 2-8 p.m.

Applicants don’t need to have acting experience. Immediate needs include people who live in the Jackson/Ann Arbor area who can act as inmates in a prison scene (muscle-bound men with tattoos are ideal); “twenty somethings” who are taking the bar exam; families visiting inmates; participants in courtroom scenes; and general extras for various scenes throughout the movie.

Late night shooting may be required.
