Hilary Swank is no stranger to the film awards season. The two-time Oscar winner (for “Boys Don’t Cry” and “Million Dollar Baby”) is back this year with her role as Betty Anne Waters in “Conviction,” the based-on-a-true story film about a single-mother waitress who puts herself through law scool to try to get her brother’s murder conviction overturned.
Sam Rockwell plays her brother, Kenny, and said of his co-star late last year: “Hilary’s fierce; she’s really a force of nature. So I was intimidated and yet thrilled and excited” to work with her.
Awards Tracker is thrilled and excited to have Swank join us at 10 a.m. Friday (Jan. 14) for a live chat to discuss the film, her SAG nomination for the role and whatever else you want to talk to her about. Sign up below.
