The American Foundation for Aids Research (amFar) has added more shimmer to its star-studded global fundraising event to be held at a plush South Mumbai hotel on November 17. After Sharon Stone and Kesha, it is Hilary Swank who has agreed to lend support to the cause.
Swank will be arriving in Mumbai on November 17, and is expected to make a speech to raise awareness about AIDS at the event. The two-time Oscar winner has confirmed her participation.
Stone will chair the event, along with the Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
A source associated with the event said: “The organisers want Hilary to be the surprise element, and so have kept her arrival under wraps. It will be a quick trip to India for the Million Dollar Baby.”
